Amina Rizk

She was born in the city of Tanta, and joined Tanta School at the age of six. She used to watch the circus during the celebrations of Mr. Al-Badawi’s birth.
She made sketches on the stage, and because of that she became attached to art, and after her father’s death in 1918, she and her mother traveled to Cairo and joined Diaa Al-Sharq School with her aunt Amina Muhammad, where she was two years older than her. In 1922, she stood on stage with her aunt for the first time, singing in the chorus of Ali Al-Kassar’s band, and that was on the Rawd Al-Farag stage.
As for her real beginning on stage, it was in 1924, in the Ramses Theater with Youssef Wehbe in the play (Rasputin), and she presented works on radio and theater in addition to her works in historical and social television series.
One of her plays is (It's Really a Respectable Family, Siniora).
Her journey with cinema represents the life of this cinema until her death. She ably succeeded in separating her theatrical and cinematic performances, and this appeared in the films in which she starred, such as (The Doctor).
As for the role of the mother, which she played many times, she always played it with a strong woman who knows how to protect her family and is rarely vulnerable. Her most prominent roles are in the films (Shafiqa Al-Qibtiya, I Want a Solution).
She died in 2003 at the age of 93.
