Overview

The Fair is an Egyptian drama series that opens with a dramatic kidnapping in the bustling crowds of a traditional street fair, where a man snatches a baby boy from his mother and raises him as his own, naming him Gharib — meaning "stranger." Growing up in a world shaped by crime and street gangs, Gharib learns to survive among thieves and outlaws. Yet something different burns within him, an inner moral compass that sets him apart from the criminal world he was raised in. The series charts Gharib's struggle between the life he was given and the man he chooses to become.
