Overview
El Doctor is an Egyptian romantic drama that explores love tested by class prejudice and family disapproval. Dr. Hamed decides to pursue a relationship with Ehsan, and the couple travels with her family to his hometown. Ehsan's mother, dismissive of Hamed's background, firmly opposes the match. Desperate, Ehsan proposes eloping, but Hamed refuses — unwilling to begin their life together on unstable ground. When Hamed's ailing mother urgently needs a blood transfusion and Ehsan turns out to be a match, a medical crisis becomes the unlikely bridge that reconnects two families and gives the relationship a second chance.
