Shayateen El Leyl is an Arabic period drama set during the British occupation of Egypt. Atwa leads a double life — laboring in a factory by day while exploiting his physical strength as an enforcer on the streets of Imad al-Din at night. His path crosses with Rawhiyya, a young woman who lost her entire family to the British occupiers. Their relationship is tested when Rawhiyya discovers that Atwa has been working as a spy for a princess, betraying the guerrillas fighting for Egyptian independence. The film explores themes of resistance, moral compromise, and the personal cost of collaboration during a turbulent chapter of Egyptian history.
