Overview

"First Year of Love" is an Egyptian drama blending romance with political intrigue. Mohamed, a young idealistic teacher, rejects a student who turns out to be the daughter of Awny, the Minister of Interior — sparking a dangerous personal and political rivalry. When Mohamed shifts careers to journalism and joins the Wafd Party, he uncovers that Awny holds incriminating documents that could destroy the party's leadership. The film charts Mohamed's dangerous pursuit of those documents, weaving together themes of personal ambition, political loyalty, and the heavy cost of falling on the wrong side of power. A gripping story where love and politics collide with unexpected consequences.
