Egyptian actor. He graduated from the Mechanics School, which specialized in graduating individuals specialized in maintaining Air Force aircraft. He began working in the field of art after resigning from his job in the sixties of the twentieth century, through the theater in which he starred, especially when he worked in the Mohamed Negm Theater. Among his most famous participations in theater are (My Beautiful Lady, The Green Military, One for Moon and The Second is Majnun). He played many supporting roles in cinema and television, and among the most famous films he participated in are (Sons of Silence, I Want a Solution, Excuse me, Law, The Beggar, and Hot Night). On television, the storyteller role in the series (Al-Mal and Al-Noun) remains one of the most famous, in addition to his participation in the series (Omar bin Abdulaziz, The Twins) and others.

One of the oddities of his artistic career is that he was the first hero and star of his plays throughout the eighties and nineties, but he was not like that in cinema or television, so he accepted supporting roles that were completely far from starring in cinema and television. He suffered a stroke in 2003, which left him unable to move and had difficulty speaking. As a result, he retired from art permanently until his death on April 13, 2016.
