عماشه فى الأدغال, is a 1972 Egyptian movie, directed by Mohammed Salem, and starring Mohamed Reda, Safaa Abo El Saoud, Fouad Al-Mohandes. Content rating: PG-13.
Amasha in the Jungle is an Egyptian adventure comedy that introduces us to Amasha the Fourteenth — a lovable, street-smart everyman also known as Amasha Akasha or Shaban Ramadan — who embarks on a jungle expedition to Africa in search of a legendary treasure left by his earliest ancestor. Joined by the archaeologist Mahrous and a crew of his closest friends on a combined tourist trip to Uganda, Amasha leads the group on a madcap quest through the wilderness. When they finally lay hands on the long-sought treasure, they make the generous, spontaneous decision to gift it to the people of Uganda — before flying back to Cairo in a plane full of dancing and celebration. A warm, good-natured comedy that blends adventure with Egyptian folk humor.
