Overview
Girls and Love is an Egyptian thriller that weaves romance into a tense drug-smuggling plot. Alaa, a reluctant first-time participant in a trafficking operation, stashes heroin in the bag of an unknowing member of a girls' basketball team. Police officer Raed shadows him, hoping to unravel the wider gang network. Complications mount when Alaa finds himself drawn to Iman, one of the players — and she discovers his secret in a shocking moment of confrontation. The film balances action and romance as loyalty, danger, and unexpected feelings collide in a story where no one's position is simple.
