Something of Love, is a 1973 Egyptian movie, directed by Ahmad Fouad, and starring Nour El-Sherif, Sohier Ramzy, Adel Emam. with a runtime of 113 minutes.
Something of Love is an Egyptian romantic comedy built on the kind of absurd social bargaining that turns friendships upside down. Best friends Adel and Sharif share an apartment, and when Sharif falls for Enas — feelings she warmly returns — he moves to ask for her hand in marriage. But Enas's cousin Darwish, who struggles with psychological instability, imposes a bizarre condition: Sharif's friend Adel must first marry Darwish's associate Salwa for a full week before the match can proceed. Backed into a corner for the sake of his friend's happiness, Adel reluctantly agrees, setting off a spiraling series of comic misunderstandings and romantic entanglements in a film that asks just how far friendship and love can push ordinary people.
