Al-Aneed is an Egyptian thriller that follows Kamal Fahmy, a police officer dismissed from the force for his extreme brutality. When Abbas — the prime suspect in the murder of Kamal's brother — escapes custody, Kamal launches a personal hunt driven by vengeance. His pursuit takes an unexpected turn when Nadia, a close friend he intends to use as bait, is revealed to be Abbas's own sister. The hunt grows even more complicated after Kamal discovers that Zaki Bey is offering a substantial reward for Abbas — dead or alive — turning a personal vendetta into a dangerous three-way pursuit. The film explores themes of obsession, justice, and moral compromise.
