He went to cinema, where he appeared in about two hundred films, with the film (Prince of Savvy) starring (Anwar Wagdi) while he was still at the Institute of Dramatic Arts. His cinematic roles continued over the course of nearly thirty years, in which he performed a very diverse group of roles, playing the role of the pasha, the butcher, the cruel father, the gentle husband, the ordinary Egyptian man, the Arab, the Khedive, and others. With the beginning of Egyptian television in 1960 AD, the late artist presented a group of television works, including (The Vortex), (The Unknown), (The Good Ten), and others. The series (Dreams of the Flying Boy) starring the artist (Adel Imam) was his last television work. He received the State Appreciation Award from President Sadat.
