Al-Armala Al-Taroub (The Merry Widow) is an Egyptian comedy-romance film that follows Samira, a young woman whose father forces her into a marriage with a wealthy older man. When her husband dies, his will reveals a surprising clause — Samira inherits his entire fortune on the sole condition that she never remarries. Her brother-in-law Asem, eager to claim the wealth for himself, schemes to pressure Samira into marrying him. Fleeing his manipulation, Samira escapes to Cairo where she meets Magdy and falls in love. To protect both her secret and her inheritance, she is forced to disguise herself as a maid — setting up a lively and comedic chain of mistaken identities and romantic complications.
