Overview

A Sinful Life is an Egyptian social drama that follows Rawya, a young woman who falls for Mamdouh, a wealthy and dissolute young man who boasts openly about their relationship. Embarrassed by his behaviour, Rawya breaks ties with him and moves to Tanta, where she meets the successful Dr. Medhat and builds a respectable new life as his wife. Seven years later, Mamdouh returns from Europe having failed his studies abroad — and Rawya is stunned to learn he is her husband's nephew, now living under the same roof. The past she thought she had buried comes dangerously close to the present, forcing her into a tense confrontation she never anticipated.
