My One and Only is an Egyptian romantic comedy about Ahmed, a singer with a passion for horses, who bumps into his old friend Adel at a stable after years apart. Adel offers him a gig singing at the wedding of his boss, the wealthy Fawzy Bey, who is eager to find a suitor for his daughter Bassima. Ahmed agrees to play the part of a man in love with her — a role he intends to keep purely professional. But as the charade deepens, the line between performance and genuine feeling begins to blur. A warm, playful romance built on mistaken intentions and the surprising places love is found.
