Zizit is an Egyptian thriller following Te'mah, a young woman whose gang-leader uncle Maghawry tries to force her into marriage with one of his men in exchange for a murder. She refuses and attempts to flee — only to be struck by a car driven by Fardous, a woman operating at the centre of a money-counterfeiting gang. Taken into the gang's world, Te'mah reinvents herself as Zizit and is tasked with delivering forged currency to gambling dens. But when she grows attached to the honest treasury employee Bahjat and cannot bring herself to deceive him, Fardous threatens her life, and Te'mah is forced once again to seek escape. The film is a tense, twist-filled drama about a woman caught between criminal worlds and her own conscience.
