Overview
Soultan is an Egyptian drama film tracing the turbulent life of Sultan, a poor boy who grows into a military orderly serving under a high-ranking general. He earns the sympathy of Essam, the general's son and a police officer, who treats him with unusual kindness. But when Sultan is forced to leave to care for his ailing mother, he is unjustly accused of theft and desertion — expelled from the army and imprisoned. Unable to prove his innocence, Sultan turns to a life of crime, setting the stage for a fateful and unwanted confrontation with the very officer who once showed him compassion.
