Overview
The Three Madmen is an Egyptian comedy film that follows Tawfiq, a veterinarian who resigns from the Ministry of Health to devote himself full time to scientific experiments in his home laboratory. His wife Suniya is exasperated by his obsessions and complains to her sister, but her attitude shifts when one of Tawfiq's experiments succeeds and earns press coverage. The comedy reaches its peak when Tawfiq decides to conduct his latest experiment on his sister-in-law's fiancé, fresh from a successful trial on goats — with predictably chaotic results. A cheerful satire on scientific ambition and the domestic chaos it can unleash, the film delivers warm laughs through increasingly absurd situations.
