Nashal Raghm Anfuh (A Pickpocket Against His Will) is an Egyptian comedy film about a reformed thief whose change of heart sets off a chain of farcical events. The moment the protagonist steps out of prison determined to go straight, his old gang is waiting to demand the wallet he stole before his sentence. He denies all knowledge of it, retreats home, and opens the wallet — only to discover contracts and important documents belonging to the movie star Samia Fawzy. Forced to return the papers to her in person, he is met with an instant and earnest declaration of love from the star herself, who promptly decides to marry him. The film is a breezy comedy that rewards its unlikely hero's reformed character with a fairy-tale outcome.
