An Egyptian actor, born in Gerga, Sohag in 1938. He joined Ain Shams College and graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture in 1961. He met his colleagues Samir Ghanem and Al-Deif Ahmed and created with them the Theater Lights Trio band, which worked in theater and television. They starred in the first Fawazeer for Ramadan directed by Mohamed Salem. They also participated together during this period in starring in a large number of films and plays. However, after the death of (Al-Deif Ahmed), Samir and George continued to work together for years until Samir went to work alone. George Sidhom's most important plays include (Hello, Doctor), (The Married Ones), (Love in the Wood), (The Hard Labor Hotel), and (Music in the Eastern District), and among his television works are (The Halwani Gate). In 1997, George Sidhom suffered a stroke, which resulted in complete paralysis in the right side of his body. It also affected the speech center, which led to him moving away from art.
