Overview

End of the Road is a gripping Arabic crime thriller that follows a young man driven by financial hardship to join a criminal gang in order to support his family. After the gang carries out a supermarket robbery, their escape vehicle breaks down and the police close in. Desperate for cover, they force their way into the home of a prominent lawman, holding him and his family hostage while attempting to stash their stolen money. What begins as a tense standoff spirals out of control when a second escaped gang arrives at the same hideout, turning the situation into a volatile powder keg. The film doubles as a social commentary on poverty and the choices it forces upon young people with no apparent way out.
