Overview
Afretet Ismail Yassin is a classic Egyptian fantasy comedy starring the beloved Ismail Yassin alongside Katy as a murdered nightclub belly dancer whose restless ghost refuses to move on without justice. Her nightclub owner manager had orchestrated her killing to collect on her life insurance and pay off his debts. With no memory of her killer since she was asleep when it happened, her ghost latches on to the hapless Ismail, dragging him into a mission to unmask the murderer. What follows is a string of hilarious situations as Ismail fumbles through his ghostly assignment while struggling to keep up appearances with his oblivious fiancée's family — a comedy of the living and the dead.
