Somaya Ahmed Ibrahim was born in Cairo.
She married the late writer Youssef Auf>
I joined the Free Theater Group and participated in the plays Marati Bint Jin and Abdel Salam Effendi, Al-Rida Al-Sami, Al-Magnet, and The People Below>
In the 1950s, she presented the Sa’at Li Qalb program on Cairo Radio, then joined the Sa’at Li Qalb theatrical troupe and the Ismail Yassin troupe.
I joined the comedy theater in the 1960s with television troupes and acted in the plays “Forbidden Women,” “Al-Abit,” “My Sister Samiha,” “Number 2 Yasab,” and “Thug Despite His Nose.”
I moved between theatrical troupes, working in the Al-Rihani troupe, the Amin Al-Heneidi troupe, and the Egyptian Al-Comedy troupe, and I presented plays opposite Mohamed Awad, including Al-Tartour, Salad Dish, Rijal’s Talk, Weak Point, Thief’s Festival, and Al-Qusayrin.
In television, I worked in the series Daydreams, The Obsession, Passerby, The Scenes, The Family, Good Morning, My Dear Neighbor, Sakin Qasadi, and Where is My Heart.
She was able to draw attention from one stage to another, as she is the comedy star of Hour for Your Heart, then she is the actress in Eve’s Lies, and she is the sister who is jealous of her sister in A Divorced Woman.
