Overview
Wantaha Al-Hob is an Egyptian romantic drama that opens with tragedy: Ahmed's wedding night turns into a funeral when his bride Souad is killed by a stray bullet. Devastated, Ahmed retreats into his grief, living only for Souad's memory. Before his death, Souad's father entrusts Ahmed with the care of his younger daughter Zizi, asking him to marry her — a request Ahmed initially refuses. Over time, however, as he raises Zizi, who bears a striking resemblance to her late sister, new feelings begin to stir, pulling Ahmed into a deeply conflicted internal struggle between loyalty to his first love and the possibility of a new beginning.
