
An Egyptian singer and actor, born in Alexandria in 1960. He began his artistic career at the age of twelve, by working in Ramadan concerts in Alexandria, until the artist Abdel Halim Hafez saw him singing in joy and decided to adopt it artistically. Indeed, he performed many concerts, especially in the Palace of Culture in Alexandria, and among his most prominent songs are (God Wants, May You Be Good, Curtains). He broke into the field of acting in 1975, where he participated in the film (And It's Over). Love), then the series (The Fog) in 1977, in which he also sang his own opening sequence. After that, he participated in many works, the most prominent of which are (Promise and Written, My Life is Torment, and Government Horses). In his last days, he suffered from depression and became addicted to drugs until he died as a result of a heroin overdose on August 20, 1995.
