Badia Masabni is a dramatic biographical film recounting the remarkable and turbulent life of one of the Arab world's most legendary entertainers. From a painful childhood in Lebanon marked by trauma and assault, Badia Masabni reinvented herself in Egypt, rising to fame as a celebrated dancer and actress. Her marriage to iconic comedian Najib Al-Rihani brought her both joy and heartbreak before their divorce. She built a renowned theater in Cairo that became a cultural institution, only to see it seized over tax debts, forcing her to sell it to dancer Biba. She eventually fled to Lebanon with her savings, where she died alone. The film is a poignant portrait of ambition, resilience, and solitude behind the spotlight.
