An Egyptian actor, whose real name is (Mohamed Mohamed Ali Awad), he was born in the village of Al-Ghar in the city of Zagazig in Sharkia Governorate in 1944. He began his artistic career in the early seventies with small roles in cinema and television, and worked in the Abdel Moneim Madbouly Theater, after which he established his own theater, which bears his name, to move to the comedy theatre. His first play was (A Banana and 3 Knives), which he presented in 1968, but his first theatrical starring was in a play (A Thing That Confused) In 1970, he also presented many plays, including (The Bulldozer, The Nest of Madmen, Be Wise, O Crazy One, Abdo Challenges Rambo, and The Tiger). He also participated in many works in cinema and television, most notably (Never Will I Return, How to Lose a Million Pounds, A Dangerous Life, and My Story with Time).
