El-Ganna Taht Qadmeha is an Egyptian drama about a mother's sacrifice and the injustice that shatters her family. Zainab works in a factory to support her children Nemat and Hussein after refusing to marry Ayoub. Her rejection sets off a chain of malice — Ayoub burns the factory, murders its owner, and frames Zainab for the crime. She is imprisoned while her children grow up without her: Hussein becomes a lawyer, and Nemat, shaped by hardship, comes to believe that wealth by any means is the answer. Zainab eventually escapes to find her children and track down a letter hidden by her brother Ahmed — the key to proving her innocence.
