An Egyptian actor, he enrolled to study at a private institute founded by Registrar Qassem Wagdy. He also studied at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, then worked immediately after his graduation at the Ramses Theater at the end of the 1940s, after which he joined the National Theater and participated in many plays, including (School of the Troubled People, Watch, Don’t Saw Anything). In cinema, he participated in dozens of works, the most prominent of which are (Al-Wad Mahrous Betaa Al-Wazir, Sleeping in Honey, and Hot Tears). He also has many television works, including (Al-Ayyam, Seven Crafts, She is Crazy, Crazy). He passed away in 2010 after suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
