Overview
The Market is an Egyptian drama film following Abdo, a young man from the countryside who arrives in Cairo to work in the vegetable market. When Shams's wife falsely accuses Abdo of assault, a violent chain of events is unleashed — including an attack on Aziza — that forces Abdo into a direct confrontation with the man who once employed him.
