Overview
Amusement Street is an Egyptian thriller set in the shadowy world of Cairo's nightlife. The Candles nightclub hosts the band of Fathi Ragab, where dancer Nadia works and tries to persuade her friend Ilham to share her apartment. One night, an unknown intruder breaks in and strangles Nadia to death, leaving investigators without a clear suspect. Her replacement, dancer Dalal, meets an identical fate — strangled in the same methodical manner. The police are left scrambling to identify a killer who strikes again before they can close in, in a tense mystery that keeps the truth tantalizingly out of reach until the final reel.
