Overview

That's Wrong, Lulu... Lulu, That's Wrong is an Egyptian romantic comedy that follows Lulu, a free-spirited woman who flees her controlling husband Hossam in Alexandria and heads to Cairo in search of independence. Unable to find an apartment of her own, she accepts an offer from the kind-hearted Salameh to stay in a spare room at his flat, which he shares with colleagues including the journalist Kamal, who quickly becomes taken with her. Concealing her marital status, Lulu builds a new social life in Cairo while Hossam pursues her. The film playfully explores themes of personal freedom, marital expectations, and the comic misunderstandings that arise when secrets begin to unravel.
