سوق الحريم, is a 1969 Egyptian movie, directed by يوسف مرزوق, and starring Mariam Fakhr Eddine, Salah Zulfikar. Samiha Ayoub.
Souq Al-Hareem is an Egyptian dramatic comedy series that exposes the dark underbelly of calculated opportunism. Lawyer Maher lets his friends Mahmoud and Essam in on his secret to wealth — targeting vulnerable women at the Personal Status Court and marrying them for their inheritance. The two friends eagerly follow suit: Mahmoud sets his sights on Alia, a landowner with a hundred acres he meets at the Heliopolis court, while Essam pursues the equally wealthy Farida at the Zamalek court. Both men marry their targets believing the scheme is foolproof, but a cascade of unexpected twists soon turns their calculated plans upside down. The series blends sharp social satire with comedic timing to deliver a story about greed, consequences, and poetic justice.
