Abbas Rahmy

Egyptian actor.
Before working in art, he was head of the Royal Private Stables, which opened the way for him to get to know filmmakers, including director Hassan Helmy, who in 1946 was assigned a role in his film (The Five Pounds) with Mohsen Sarhan, and artist Youssef Wehbe in the film (Angel of Mercy) in the same year with Raqia Ibrahim.
He also participated in documenting some national symbols in the film “Mustafa Kamel” with Mahmoud El-Meligy, which was the first national film produced after the revolution in 1952.
After that, he participated in several patriotic films, such as: (Land of Heroes) with Lola Sidqi in 1953, (My Homeland and My Love) with Hussein Sidqi in 1960, (In Our House is a Man) with Omar Sharif in 1961, (The Naked Truth) with Magda Al-Sabahi in 1963.
