Overview
Afraid of Something is an Egyptian thriller that begins with the abduction of student Ismat by a predator named Rashed. Before he can harm her, she is rescued by Raoof, a thief who kills Rashed and flees with her to safety. When Raoof confides that he only steals out of desperation — to fund medical treatment for his ailing daughter — Ismat finds herself sympathizing with the man who saved her life.
