Hatta Akher AlOmr is an Egyptian romantic drama in which Mona's love for Ahmed is cut short by her father, who forces her into marriage with Mahmoud. When Mahmoud discovers Mona's past feelings for Ahmed, he resolves to divorce her — but before he can act, he is sent to the front lines of war and returns paralyzed. Faced with his vulnerability, Mona cannot bring herself to abandon him, especially after a fellow soldier returns from abroad having recovered from a similar injury, reigniting hope.
