The Single Husband, is a 1966 Egyptian movie, directed by Hasan El-Saifi, and starring Hind Rostom, Farid Shawqy, Mahmoud El Meligy. with a runtime of 100 minutes.
The Single Husband is an Egyptian social comedy following Ashour, a serial polygamist who takes his tenth wife — the widow Azhar — to the fury of his existing spouses. Rather than settling into domestic peace, Ashour immediately begins pursuing yet another marriage to a woman named Rasmia. The comic situation escalates dramatically when he discovers that Rasmia is the daughter of his very first ex-wife, Nafisa, creating an absurd and tangled web of past and present that throws his chaotic life into complete disorder. The film is a sharp satirical comedy poking fun at greed, impulse, and the unintended consequences of a man who never knows when enough is enough.
