
An Egyptian actress, born in 1956 to a family in which some members work in the arts, including her brothers Mervat and Refaat. She acted as a child and was famous for her wit and her ability to keep up with the big stars she worked with, such as: Shadia, Souad Hosni, Nadia Lotfy, Imad Hamdi, and Aqeela Ratib. She began her film career in 1959 in the role of Ibn Shadia in the film (The Unknown Woman) directed by Mahmoud Zulfiqar, and in the same year she played a small role in the film (Between Heaven and Earth) directed by Salah Abu Seif. In 1960, director Fateen Abdel Wahab presented her in an influential role in his movie (The Magic Lantern), but her real breakthrough came also at the hands of Fateen in the movie (Zizi’s Family). In the same year, she played the role of a boy again in the second part of the movie (Girls and Summer), which was directed by Salah Abu Seif. During 1961, she made several films, including (Don't Remember Me) and (Tomorrow is Another Day), and her most important role was in the film (The Seven Girls) with director Atef Salem, who was famous for his skill in dealing with child actors. Ikram Ezzo retired from artistic work completely while she was still a successful child and wanted by producers, and she died quietly on June 13, 2001.
