Banat Bahari is a vibrant Egyptian comedy film following two brothers, Salama and Adel, each chasing a very different dream. Salama dreams of immigrating to the United States, while Adel longs to become a famous singer. When their wealthy and domineering mother Nafousa stands in their way, the brothers steal her money and flee to Alexandria to pursue their ambitions. In Alexandria's lively world, Adel meets the dancer Riri and rises to stardom, while Salama falls for a spirited local girl who changes his outlook entirely. A lighthearted celebration of ambition, music, and the warmth of Alexandrian life.
