Overview

Lovers' Island is an Egyptian romantic film that follows a group of government office colleagues on a seaside getaway to the Red Sea coast. For one of the women in the group, the trip becomes far more than a vacation — it is an unexpected reunion with Ahmed, the young man she once loved deeply, before her father's refusal forced him to leave and seek work at a distant lighthouse. Away from the pressures of city life, their love finds room to breathe again as the journey unfolds amid sun-drenched scenery and the quiet possibilities of a fresh start. The film weaves several romantic subplots into a warm and nostalgic portrait of longing and second chances.
