Aawatif Ramadan

She was born on April 11, 1930...and God passed away on February 4, 1997. She graduated from the Higher Institute of Acting and the Higher Institute of Music in the early fifties. She performed many plays and operettas since her studies until 1989, when she completely retired from art until she died in February 1997. She was an employee at the Ministry of Culture with the rank of a distinguished artist. Among her most famous plays during her institute days were (The Merchant of Venice), (The Scrooge), and (Othello). After graduating from the institute, she starred in the play (Mem’s Empire) many years before the film, and she participated in the play (I, He, and She) in the role of my country’s teacher with Fouad Al-Muhandis. As for the films that she participated in, for example, but not limited to: (The Black Knight) with Kuka (Melody of Loyalty) with Shadia and Abdel Halim (Searching for a Scandal) with Adel Imam in the role of Nabila Al-Sayed’s mother...and her last film was (The Gentlemen) with Mahmoud Abdel Aziz in the role of His Excellency Zayed’s mother. As for the series, they are numerous, for example (And Love Is Back) with Neamat Mukhtar and Hassan Hosni (Al-Bostaji) with Hamdy Ahmed in the role of Umm Abdullah Mahmoud... and many radio works.
