Overview
Abu Ahmad is an Egyptian social drama set against the working-class backdrop of Alexandria's bustling harbor. When Captain Gad deliberately sabotages a ship to make the incident appear accidental, he unwittingly sets off a chain of events that costs him the very position he coveted: the role of foreman goes instead to Abu Ahmad, a decent and hardworking man who shares the joyful news with his wife Amina — a woman who has long yearned for a child. But Gad, consumed by resentment and a burning sense of injustice, begins plotting his revenge.
