Overview
Kholkhal Habibi is an Egyptian drama film set around a roadside café managed by the scheming Hafida and her gang of cronies — Adham, Sanad, and Hindawi. Her daughter Bahia dances to entertain customers, catching the eye of the ambitious Adham who schemes to marry her against her will. When the wealthy young Ahmed arrives bearing an unusual gift — a golden anklet — his presence upends the café's criminal equilibrium. After the gang attacks and throws him into the Nile, Bahia is consumed by guilt, believing herself responsible for his fate, setting the film's dramatic finale in motion.
