Overview
Lahadat Khawf is an Arabic thriller drama that follows Fathi, who is wrongfully sentenced to seven years in prison for embezzlement — a crime actually committed by his boss Lutfi, who planted the evidence. After serving his full sentence, Fathi is released with one purpose: to force a confession from Lutfi and restore his reputation. When Lutfi refuses to admit the truth, Fathi devises an elaborate trap, sending his sister to befriend Lutfi without revealing her identity or her brother's intentions. Taut and driven by a burning sense of injustice, the film builds to a tense confrontation between a wronged man and an unrepentant criminal.
