Mohamed Abu Youssef

Egyptian screenwriter and director, born November 21, 1921.
He graduated from the English Language Department at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University.
He wrote the script and dialogue for the most important films of Egyptian cinema, such as (Woman on the Road, Rumors of Love, Ah from Eve, Fares Bani Hamdan, Enemy of Women, The Promised Night, Idol of the Masses) and other works. He also worked as an assistant director on films, most of which were with Youssef Chahine.
He married the artist Ihsan Al-Qalawi.
He died on June 25, 1985.
