Karima ElSherif

An Egyptian actress, she was born into a poor family in the Abdeen neighborhood. She had six siblings, of whom she was the youngest. She was discovered by Youssef Wehbe to join his theatrical troupe and perform many works. She made her cinematic debut in 1962 in the film (Diary of a Schoolgirl) with Hassan Youssef. She then participated in many films, most notably (The Black Glasses) with Nadia Lutfi, and (The Thin Thread) with Faten Hamama. She presented several television series in classical Arabic, but her most famous sign is She was the host of the radio series “My Life.” She passed away in 1993 after suffering from illness.
