An Egyptian actress, born in the Abbasiya district of Cairo in 1938. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies. She started in children’s programs with Baba Sharo, and entered art through a competition in Al-Jeel magazine. She was nominated by Mustafa Amin and Anis Mansour to work in art, by acclamation. Her first work was opposite the late artist Faten Hamama in the movie (A Date with Happiness) in 1954, followed by her works after that, the most prominent of which was (Girls). Bahri, my mother-in-law is an angel, beginning and end. She retired from art in the late sixties after marrying an Egyptian engineer residing in the Russian capital, Moscow.
