An Egyptian director, writer, and editor, born in 1921. He traveled to Paris in 1937 after finishing high school, where he completed postgraduate studies in modern art and cinematic studies. In 1944, he joined the editing department at Studio Misr and studied there under Salah Abu Seif, Kamal Al-Sheikh, and Emile Bahri. He worked as an assistant editor at the beginning of his artistic career, then devoted himself to directing later. Among the films he directed: (The Mind). Zina, Goblin of Samara, My Beloved Anklet, Island of Lovers, Escape), died in 1981 at the age of 60.
