Al-Qadeya Al-Mashhora, is a 1978 Egyptian movie, directed by Hassan Al-Imam, and starring Rushdy Abaza, Farid Shawqy, Samir Sabri. with a runtime of 110 minutes.
Al-Qadeya Al-Mashhora is an Egyptian courtroom drama built around a devastating miscarriage of justice. Jasser breaks into the home of Yassin Bey intending a routine burglary, but the night spirals catastrophically out of control: he kills Saadia, the wife of the servant Ibrahim, and then Yassin himself. When Ibrahim arrives on the scene moments later, his daughter Naima finds him standing over her mother's body with a knife in his hand. Her eyewitness testimony sends an innocent man to prison. As the legal case unfolds, the series examines the fragility of eyewitness evidence, the machinery of a justice system that mistakes confidence for truth, and the suffering that follows when the wrong person is condemned.
