Youm El Ahad El Damy is an Egyptian thriller and suspense film set in the quiet Cairo suburb of Maadi, where a peaceful Sunday is shattered by the arrival of three escaped convicts — Sultan, his brother Hamada, and a ruthless third fugitive. They seize the villa belonging to Dr. Zaki, holding his unsuspecting family hostage in their own home. As fear and tension grip the household, the police close in from outside while Dr. Zaki, keeping his composure under extreme pressure, looks for a way to free his family. A tightly wound thriller that ratchets up the dread scene by scene, building to an inevitable confrontation between the innocent and the dangerous.
