Zouzou Mady

Egyptian actress. She was born in the city of Beni Suef, and studied in Franciscan schools. At the age of fifteen, she married one of her cousins and had two children with him. She began working in art after reading an advertisement in which director Mohamed Karim asked for new faces for one of his cinematic projects, which was the film (Long Live Love). She sent her picture to him, and despite the family’s strong opposition, she obtained her husband’s approval, traveled to Cairo, and gave her first cinematic role in 1938 through the film (Long Live Love), and at that time she joined several theater groups. Including Youssef Wehbe Troupe, Khalil Motran Troupe, and Ramses Troupe, until it had a huge balance of plays in which it participated, from its launch in the late thirties until the early eighties of the twentieth century. She participated in starring in many films, the most famous of which are (Delilah, A Day in My Life, Miramar, Searching for a Scandal, and A Dinner Date). She died in 1982 at the age of 68.
